Fruit Slice!

Description

Fruit Slice! is an exhilarating action game where your reflexes and precision are put to the ultimate test! Developed using Flutter and the Flame game engine, this vibrant mobile experience brings the joy of fruit slicing to your fingertips.

In Fruit Slice!, colorful fruits launch into the air from the bottom of your screen. Your mission is simple yet addictive: slice as many fruits as possible with swift, precise swipes before they fall back down. Each successful slice rewards you with points, while creating beautiful juice splatter effects that make every swipe satisfying.

The game features progressive difficulty levels where fruits fly faster and in more complex patterns as your score increases. But beware of bombs that occasionally mix with the fruits – slice them and it's game over!

Fruit Slice! was created for the Flutter Flame Game Jam, perfectly embracing the theme of "Motion" through its dynamic fruit trajectories and fluid slicing mechanics. We worked within the limitations of using only Flutter and Flame to create all gameplay elements, focusing on optimizing performance for smooth gameplay across devices.

How to Play

  • Controls: Simply swipe your finger across the screen to slice fruits
  • Scoring: Each fruit sliced earns points
  • Combos: Slice multiple fruits in a single swipe for combo multiplier
  • Avoid: Don't slice bombs (black round objects with fuses)
  • Game Over: The game ends when you miss too many fruits or slice a bomb

Hi, can you add a link to the code and explain how you've incorporated the theme (The Space Race) into the game?
